Chiquito's Croydon
We went to this restaurant for my birthday. Had a great time. The food is lovely, and the cocktails are impressive. The room is beautiful and big, we were 22 people without booking and we got a table in less than 5 minutes. Most of us chose the chicken fajitas and we really enjoyed them and the bbq ribs were amazing as well – our waitress gave to our kids balloons, colouring books and crayons, it was a really nice touch. Highly recommended, I shall go back. Good value for money.

This was THE worst meal I have eaten in my life. Please please please do not go to tthis resturant. the 'rice' was processed, microwaved, cold and too salty. The refried beans were cold, old, stale, floury and too salty. The salsa was made with tinned tomatoes and... too salty.It was ALL too salty. It's not mexican.. it's not even food. Even though I was starving, it was absolutely inedible. I felt ill for days afterwards. Also, there was NO working ladies toilet I could even throw up in. The disbled toilet was blocket and overflowing. My next email will be to heath and safety and the food standards agency.

looked very appealing, food was terribel didnt seem fresh at all waited about 45 minuits for the meal to arrive and when it finally did it was stone cold rather expensive and tasted like a basic meal you could buy from tesco. No flavor nothing like mexican food, very plain small portions tasting like frozen food, atmosphere had a rather moudly smell, vally park please hire mexican chefs not young studants who are used to microwave meals, a warning to anyone visiting vally park nandoes is much cheaper and much better its nothing like a real mexican .

valley prk....just tried to reserve table for our group for saturday answer "sorry we dont resevre tables during the weekend"! so when its quiet during the week and you probably dont ned to reseve a table you can. When its busy over the weekend and you dont want to wait 45mins-1hr for a table YOU CANT BOOK! clever!?!?!?! Ate hear once before about 6 months ago (not my choice) and waited ages for a table, the service was very slow and they screwed up our orders. Obe of our group only got their fod after we all finished but by that time we were so fed up we decided to eat the sloppy gungy ribs and overcooked steaks. Personally at about 20 pounds each i would have chosen a smaller restaurant selling real food but if you like chainstore style rubber go for it

I have been to Chiquitos twice, 1st time for my 16th and second time for my mate's 17th. First time I ordered a Mexicana Mixed Grill (biggest meal there) was nice, so I thought I'd order it again but disappointed the second time, food took about 45 mins to arrive and it arrive without corn on the cob and with no ribs which was the main bit, when I got it eventually, it did not look fresh at all, Will not be going there any time soon unless forced!!!!!!

The Chiquitos I went to was in Leicester. I thought I was visiting an establishment which was to cook and serve authentic ( as possible and within reason ) Mecican food. All we got was a hugely overpriced pile of absolute shoit, the food was obliterested in a sweet gooey substance or a nasty B-B-Q sauce type resin, 16 of us went, not one of us finished the meal, all of us left extremely disappointed and appalled and a bloody nightmare. I'll give it 5 stars for being in the 'Worst places to eat' sector.... and don't get me started on the service.

My family have been to the new Chiquitos in Walsall, West Midlands, 3 times now. The first time they didnt know a wrap from a baguette. The second time after waiting a hour for service my medium rare steak was cooked well done. I have just tried to book for 8 people, to give them another try but they do not serve 8 people on a Saturday night, but they will serve 6, all I can say is their loss. Never going again.

I have been to Chiquitos twice and on both occasions I have been absolutely appalled by the service... The first time I went, I had to wait for about 30 mins for my food.. The sceond time I had to wait for about 1hr 30... I am never going there again; and I shall not be recommending the restaurant to any of my friends....

booked tables for a birthday for 20 had to wait 20 mins for it and it seated 15, service was slow food wasnt that great a bit cold and vey small portions, wouldnt stop u from going but wouldnt recommend it. atmosphere ok

Regular user of this restaurant after frequent visits to Ikea. Went in Nov 04 and again under new management, order took at least 45 mins to arrive, wrong order delivered, smaller than ever had before, called the manager and told him we had been coming here for years but this was the worst ever. Wont be going back there for a while, but been to Leicester Square one several times since, although busy, food exceptional. Take a tip Valley Park, dont alter a good thing and stick with the food that has worked before.

It was bloody brillant...I went for my 16th birthday with my three best mates. We had a brilliant time... We ordered some white wine spitzers and after three bottles we were totally out of it... It was the best birthday eva cause the waitress (can't remember her name) was really nice as was everybody else-but that was before it went under new managment cause we went again but this time with all of us girls for my best mates birthday and well it was as good as mine shall i put it...but nevertheless it was a brillant night...definately one to look back on when were older...

we had been recently to this restaurant after a span of a year. We were greeted with Zoe who directed us to our table and we ordered for the 'limited' vegeterain dishes. After waiting for about 20 mins, we had our 'small' portion vegeterian dish which has been shrinking every year. We enjoyed the dessert, but Zoe was really expecting a heavy tip. To summarize, small portions and expensive food!!

appaulling service from october 15th 03 onwards. i think it's under new management. DO NOT GO HERE! took over an hour to get our food (we are very regular customers so were embarrassed to complain). very rude service by girl called Zoe (didnt even say sorry about delay AFTER AN HOUR!) food was burnt and SMALL PORTIONS! the food was nice but the service was not all that great. i booked a table for 25 but got a table for 20. they didnt seem to do anything about it either. just make sure you book your table carefully when going to this restaurant.

I ordered Prawn skewers. As a seafood fan I was expecting lovely juicy tiger prawns. My friend ordered them too, out of politeness she ate as much as she could. But as soon as I peeled & ate my first 1 sent them back. The manager came, asked what was wrong & I explained. He proceeded to tell me that the larger the prawn, the more firm they were. But what happened to these I don’t know, as they were dry & hard as cardboard! I was very unhappy with the way we were spoken to & asked him to one side, politely, & told him I was unimpressed with his people skills. He referred to me as honey, which I did not appreciate, & he them told me that whatever he'd called me I wouldn’t appreciate it anyway. His final words were that he runs a 5 star restaurant & health & safety have commended his food! Well next time I suggest they try the prawns! Ironically the message printed on the end of their bill. "If you love the food tell someone, if not tell us" Yes tell us, but we'll get angry with you!

The worst restaurant experience I have ever had...I am a vegan and they not only served me the wrong dish the first time,,the second time they served a chicken dish which I would have eaten all of had my B/f not tried it and recognised the error. Extremely unbothered and unappologetic. Lacks service.
