Frankie & Bennys Singularly the worst excuse of a food outlet that I have had the misfortune of visiting. Prepare for reheated chips, tepid burgers in a hot bun & a wilting salad. Do yourself a favour & walk 200 yards to Nandos. It maybe only chicken, but it is fresh & hot. David - Review dated 26 May 2008 frank and benny's we went there on mother's day '08 and enjoyed every bit of it. the food was great and the bill was so small yet the potions were big. it was such an enjoyable experience that we intend to go back there for easter dinner. keep it up!!! kityo-matovu - Review dated 19 March 2008 frankie & benny's food great, service great, best atmostphere, DANA served us the best made us feal like a million dollers robert smith - Review dated 14 October 2007 Frankie and Bennys Great value for the set lunch up until 5pm but they do not always give you this menu so ask (weekdays only). Typical American style diner food, nice but not anything fantastic. They do like to push the drinks though if you ever have an empty glass. Good place to take the children. Yummymummy - Review dated 12 October 2007 Frankie and Benny's We've been there several times. Always friendly service, and good size portions, usually too much to finish. Sometimes the service can be slow between courses but last time we went (February) they'd come up with an interesting way to address this - rather than cook more food quicker (is the kitchem too small?), a magician was doing the rounds, with close-up tricks at the table. He was excellent! And he also made a supberb balloon model of 'Roadrunner' for my youngest daughter. Ian Andrews - Review dated 10 March 2007 Frankie and Bennys What can i say, its a load of overpaid rubbish!! Food was very dry, when it finally arrived, no-one came to see if our food was ok, which it was not! The portions were small anyway so no need to try and eat too much however price should have reflected size!! Have they changed management since 2003? As it seems to have gone down hill from then??!! We will NOT be back!! T B - Review dated 9 January 2007 Frankie & Benny's Simply the most awful service EVER. My fish cakes were burnt on the bottom - but there wsa no enquiry as why so much was left on the plate. We were brought the bill without asking for it and coffee before the main course was finished. At 10 o'clock we were asked to leave as they didn't want to pay the staff another hours wages. Certainly not a place to go on a week night! Sarah - Review dated 11 December 2006 Frankie & Benny's Hmm, where to begin? Wholly unimpressed with this place - the starter platter 4 2 was odd to say the least, courgettes fried in batter?? Babycorn in breadcrumbs?? and manky pot skins with no taste! very disappointing. The main dish was no better and not worth mentioning - I will NOT be returning. Vicky & Fella - Review dated 28 August 2004 Frankie & Benny’s Great place to eat, great food, nice service, and nice photos on the Wall, I enjoyied my meal, would go again. Adam - Review dated 29 November 2003 Frankie and Bennys By far the best. Near Bowling and Cinema, so make the best of an evening! Good Service and quantity! When can I go back please? Alistair Dogg - Review dated 5 May 2003 Frankie and Benny's It had a very nice view. The service was excellent. The food was lovely. The waiters were very friendly and chatty. Can't wait to go again! Candy and RaRa - Review dated 5 March 2003 Frankie and Benny's We really enjoyed the view at Frankie and Benny's. It had good food and a lovelyair of the place. The waiters where very friendly and liked to talk about fashion, desigeners and belly bottons. I really liked the service and all the photos. We had a great time at our friends 18th Birthday, when they brought out a lovely little cake with a candle in it!! How Sweet!! Candy and RaRa - Review dated 26 February 2003 Frankie and Benny's, Vally Park, Croydon We really like the view, it was very nice. The waiters are very friendly and bring up good conversations about belly bars and designers! Which are very interesting! One down side to this they don't sell drinks for a (Fake) 18th birthday party. Pity! Candy and RaRa - Review dated 26 February 2003 Frankie and Benny's Frankie and Benny's has a great atmosphere the staff are very friendly (especially our waiter Pete!). I think that we should all go there one day and say hi to Pete! sam and lisa - Review dated 12 November 2002 Frankie and Bennys Good value for money, food nice and friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back! Stephanie - Review dated 25 May 2002 Frankie and Bennys Interesting venue, it kept my kids amused for an hour fred - Review dated 19 May 2002 Old Orleans Frequented this restaurant many many times over the years and never seem to have the same experience twice. When it is good the food is fantastic and so can the service be sometimes. When it is bad it is very frustrating as it is usually when its not very busy so there appears to be no reason for it. Have had bad experiences, complained, returned and it has been brilliant only to return again and not so good. Very mixed bag but children love it and venue nice with bowling alley. Yummymummy - Review dated 12 October 2007 Old Orleans Went to Old Orleans for mothers day with the whole family. A wonderful experience food is excellent ( i have been to New orleans) staff are polite and had a great time. Only one draw back....waited ages for main course! However, it was Mothers day and the food/service made up for it!!! Ally - Review dated 30 March 2006 Old Orleans Lovely restaurant and very, very friendly staff. The food was gorgeous and good value for money. Its such a good night out because of the bowling and late licence bar also in City Limits. Defently going back again. Tara - Review dated 30 December 2005 Old Orleans Don't be put off by the location - get on the bus, book a taxi and enjoy an authentic taste of the Deep South. Don't know why more people don't bother to venture out of Croydon to this belter of a restaurant - the food is fantastic, freshly cooked and not representative of the usual "chain" fare. Try the Orleans platter - just the best value for money, with chicken wings, steak, ribs and all sorts of other excitement, for under £12! It's a meal for two. I'll definitely be back. Jackie Tullett - Review dated 26 May 2005 Old Orleans Top food, great atmosphere - much much better than I expected, and much better value than TGI Fridays! Fiona White - Review dated 26 May 2005 Old Orleans Had the most fabulous meal at Old Orleans at City Limits at the weekend: the menu is much better than I remembered - a real taste of the deep South! Try the steak with the spicy rub - delicious - or the fabulous Jambalaya: really authentic, according to my guest, who's been to New Orleans. Fab service - a really pleasant surprise, and you can get there on the bus, which is helpful as the cocktails are superb: get there and soon! Rona Jeff - Review dated 2 May 2005 rockwells Went there a christmas they had so meny packed in it. It was a night mare we had a table booked for a party and we ended up sitting at a spare tabel no where near our party as there was no elbow room at all and to go in and out to the toilet was a nightmere you had to move just about everyone to get out. The starter was the best i have tasted but i would not rate the meal it was far to over cooked will and it be a long time before i go back helen - Review dated 24 January 2004 Rockwells diner your food is too expensive. laalaa - Review dated 11 February 2003 Rockwells Rockwell's is really good. depending on what days and the times you can have a nice quiet meal or go out and have a really lively night out. They have special nights organised with great entertainment especially for groups. Food is lovely and in nice big helpings too. Staff are friendly. Good value for money. katy - Review dated 5 February 2003 Rockwells diner i love this place-my friend has celebrated her birthday and i am hoping to as well.the service is brilliant and the food is well worth the money!! keep up the good work!!! karen-kazlousch - Review dated 4 June 2002 Rockwells We were thrust in the Basement where a part of the ceiling would have fallen on a diner's head but for the fact that they didn't put a table under it! They allowed the patrons to smoke despite their being no air conditioning or windows. Upstairs must have been reserved for a Nestle do or some other corporate do - let's hope they can now afford to get the ceiling fixed! That said they were obviously keen to get rid of us as the service was fairly quick. The food although good was served in somewhat reduced portions to that we have previously known. Food reasonably priced but the drinks were extortinately priced! All in all we paid a lot of money about £40 for two adults and a child who only had children's meal and we had nachos to share for a starter! Not really worth the effort I'd say! lomply - Review dated 4 June 2002 TGI Fridays The food is terrible in this place, but in saying that the kids love it...! It's fine if you want to take the youngsters for lunch or birthday treat, but don't expect gourmet food. Service can be erratic. Cheryl - Review dated 24 October 2006 tgi fridays we went for our christmas meal and all i can say is the food was terrible and we were rushed, didnt even give us crackrs m still - Review dated 19 September 2006 tgi fridays this is a great restaurant although as many people have said it can be a bit pricey i go there for family birthdays and the food is excellent a really nice but high priced restaurant chelsea - Review dated 15 August 2005 TGI Fridays Great place. Good location to meet people. Reminds me of days I was in the navy. Captain Belchy - Review dated 17 October 2004 TGI's Great food and great portion sizes. The service is a bit slow when it comes to paying the bill and they're also slightly expensive. I would go back though. Great for parties! Shona - Review dated 7 June 2004 TGI Fridays Week nights are generally quiet, service speedy and the atmosphere laid back. Weekends are a stark contrast with larger parties attending! You may have to wait 30 minutes for a table and service is a little slower, but it is well worth a supersized cocktail to make the time pass! Would advise an all adult crowd to wait til past 8pm so the last of the childrens parties have left! Kelly - Review dated 4 June 2002 Click here to add a review
